Shakya is a multi-instrumentalist with a focus on violoncello and at home on all musical levels. Born into the world of classical music, is path took him to many other genres, from jazz, pop and rock, latin and ethno to new age and ambient. Naturally his voice found its powerful way in to music also. As an autodidact he added instruments such as dilruba, guitar, djembé or hang to his repertoire.
