During the first European Corona lockdown in spring 2020, Shakya played for friends and fans many times live on youtube. The evenings offered a deep, peaceful space for healing and reconnecting with inner resources. Out of these recordings, Shakya has created one continuous piece of 90 minutes. It offers a wonderful sound background for massage, yoga, healing sessions or to be enjoyed in moments of rest, like watching a beautiful sunset…

Shakya is a multi-instrumentalist with a focus on violoncello and at home on all musical levels. Born into the world of classical music, is path took him to many other genres, from jazz, pop and rock, latin and ethno to new age and ambient.
